From this September (2009) five courses are available as a joint schools (consortium) project in Key Stage 4.

Higher Diploma - Construction and the Built Environment
Equivalent to 7 GCSEs, grades A* to C

City and Guilds NVQ Level 1 - Trowel Trades
Equivalent to 3 GCSEs grades D-G

City and Guilds NVQ Level 1 - Carpentry and Joinery
Equivalent to 3 GCSEs grades D-G

City and Guilds NVQ Level 1 - Painting and Decorating
Equivalent to 3 GCSEs grades D-G

City and Guilds NVQ Level 1 - Salon Services Hair and Beauty
Equivalent to 3 GCSEs grades D-G

In addition, the Brentwood Learning Partnership will be running the Engagement Project, which is an opportunity for students to benefit from working with experienced tutors to increase motivation and begin to firm up ideas about the types of careers they may wish to follow. It is run one day a week on a Tuesday at Hannakins Farm Community Centre in Billericay. All transport from and to Brentwood is provided.
